Forward Deployed Sales Engineer - Law Enforcement
Location: Remote with regional travel up to 50%.
Reports to: Head of Commercial Sales, Guardian RF Corporation.

Role summary
Deploy, integrate, and demonstrate Guardian RF Scout for state and local law enforcement agencies across your region. This is a high-velocity, sales-technical role: you'll travel to multiple agencies per week to run live demonstrations that prove capability within a single shift, guide departments on sensor placement for evidentiary-quality detections, and translate RF telemetry into actionable intelligence for patrol, investigations, and command staff. You'll own the pilot process from first conversation to signed contract—running proof-of-concepts that are fast to deploy, easy to operationalize, and engineered to convert into agency-wide deployments.
Core responsibilities
Lead technical and business presentations to law enforcement leadership, IT departments, and procurement stakeholders—from patrol commanders and chiefs to CIOs and technical teams. Conduct end-to-end pilot delivery: coordinate logistics across all stakeholders, assess agency requirements and objectives, perform site surveys, configure Scout nodes, and tailor demonstrations to prove value against specific operational challenges. Set and manage customer expectations throughout the pre-sales cycle; provide first-level technical support and remove obstacles through creative problem-solving in rapidly changing field conditions. Position Guardian RF Scout effectively against competitive offerings in technical evaluations and RFP responses. Troubleshoot field RF and network issues; deliver polished after-action reports and evidence exports that meet chain-of-custody and discovery standards. Draft Statements of Work, acceptance criteria, and procurement-ready documentation that convert pilot success into purchase orders. Represent the company and product at industry conferences, tech summits, and law enforcement events—building relationships with agencies and channel partners to drive growth. Train agency personnel on workflows that integrate Scout detections seamlessly into dispatch, patrol operations, and investigative processes. Capture feature requests and operational feedback from the field with reproducible detail; communicate priorities to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams. Develop or refine technical documentation to improve customer and partner adoption. Remain organized, adaptable, and focused on accelerating deal velocity through exceptional execution and relationship-building.
